ICT ASSISTANT POSITION

Joinas DT Sacco Society Limited, a SASRA-regulated deposit-taking SACCO based in Karuri, Kiambu is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused ICT Assistant to join our ICT team. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support, maintain core banking and network infrastructure, and ensure members and staff receive prompt, professional assistance.

1. Academic Qualifications

Must Have a Degree in one of the following:

Computer Science / Information Technology / BBIT / Computer technology

Professional Certification:

CCNA / Network+ / A+ / Microsoft Certified or any relevant reputable technical certification

2. Technical Skills

Networking: LAN/WAN, Router/Switch configuration, CCTV, Biometrics
Support: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Email setup
Database: Basic SQL, backups and restoration
Security: Data protection, antivirus, basic cybersecurity
Hardware: Troubleshooting, printers and computers
Content Creation: Social media, monitoring and engagement

3. Experience

1–2 years' experience in IT Support / Helpdesk
Experience in a SACCO, Microfinance institution, or Bank is highly preferred

4. Soft Skills and Values

Good customer service — able to assist members who are not tech-savvy
Problem-solving skills — able to diagnose and resolve user and system-related issues
Integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
